Cupie Udate!

Harry Potter, I survived it, though looking at my posts for those days I'm sure there's a good argument that I may have in fact melted into Puddle of Cupie, it was a close call but I survived it. We did a midnight opening I expected only about 50 or so regular customers golly how wrong I was!!! Barnes & Nobles and Borders all within a mile of my store ran out and sent the pissy people to me!!! So, literally Hundreds came to the Mall, the line wrapped around the perimeter of my store and down the center isle!!! I was on the verge of a full on Anxiety attack, but then I sucked it up and got all militant on their asses!! It took us an hour and 15 minutes to ring up all of them....with one man stumbling in around 1:20 am looking rather exhausted from driving I-5 to find a copy of the book, we were tired but welcomed him in, he was almost giddy we had some and made his purchase knowing he would soon be a hero in his child's eyes.....and that my friends is the Magic of Harry Potter. It was a phenomenal literary event that had me comping LY @ 978%!!! Yo! I had inventory the following night and that went smoothly as well, thank god! Dealing with thousands in a 3 day span tortured my brain.....I promptly went into classic Cupie mode and went into hiding and redeveloping this here blog. Yeehaw.

New & Improved?

Well here it is, the Spew's new look. I changed some things, played with the new Blogger tools, added Zonkboard~good times!! Feedback is always welcome and promptly ignored ;) jk! I've learned a lot this week....every spare minute went to redesigning and learning.....trial & error...I've still got some tweaking to do and updates are needed for various pages, that will come over the next week. Anyhoo, enjoy.

Today is the day, well 12:01am and then book geeks will have their book, myself included. "Go Harry, go Harry....it's your birthday" Snarf.

Actually I'm looking forward to the festivities it may brighten an otherwise full on pissy state my brain is in. Dare I say more???? Why? Blah, Snarf, piss, shit, fuck and of course....asspirates. Anyhoo, I work till about 2am pimpin the Potter....I come home and sleep 4 hours, wake and be a bucket of Sunshine for the early risers.....It's all for fun....mmmhmmm. Then I come home, read...heh;) then back to work on Sunday for more Potter mayhem and my annual Inventory which should bring me home around 11pm Sunday evening.

I had the most bizarre dreams last night, I woke up early just to stop the mayhem in my mind.....snarf.

Mmmmmmkay, here's the gripe, after reading that yet another person purchased a Potter book in Canada, I was annoyed with the fact the Scholastic feels the need to share the wealth with NON-book establishments.....I mean you could probably buy this damn book at Gas Stations and Bake Sales when it's finally released tomorrow evening.....serious ugh.

The Horror :S

Gorgeous weather brings bugs into homes. When confronted with a Yellow Jacket zipping by your computer monitor: Freak out!!! I did that earlier today. I felt threatened and violated buy a pest.....LOL......so, I found some bug spray and trapped that mother fucking evil flying death machine into a corner and sprayed one shot and stunned the wretched insect. That sucker twittered to the ground and prepared to die, "no mercy" I growled. One spray of the bug spray is not enough when your adrenaline is shooting through you like hyper space.....so, I sprayed that heinous little threat until my carpet was soaked through and the evil offender stopped moving. Success!!! Whew! :oP~

Monday~Monday........Blah, Blah....blah, bla, blah blah

So I saw the Matrix: Reloaded. For all you Matrix purists out there.....lighten the fuck up....I enjoyed it immensly. The movie is visually appealing, exciting and mesmerising...Neo & Trinity slithering about in a lustful Zion romp, um...ok. Anyhoo......I can't wait for the next movie...yeehaw. I also saw the Mariner vs. the Braves @ Safeco Field on Friday evening, the Mariners won!!! Happy Happy Joy...etc. Inter-league games are so fun......what my friend and I found most entertaining were the Braves Fans talking shit about the Mariners......beeeeeyatch was yelped repeatedly...and we all laughed...me go "haha". All in all it was a good weekend.

Harry Potter week......Lions and Tigers and multi million dollar best sellers.....OH MY! This week should FLY!!

Ummmmmmmm, this was fun, but I didn't fare well at all, there are reasons some don't fly or drive....yikes.
