Do lobbyist's have a twisted mission statement, or what?

Those crazy lobbyist's are giving politics a bad name (heh)ahem....

Lobbyist #1: The Republican's had been denying that the "Schiavo talking points memo" came from their side are eating crow today (so tasty) as it has been um...linked to the Republican's.
The legal counsel to Sen. Mel Martinez (R-Fla.) admitted yesterday that he was the author of a memo citing the political advantage to Republicans of intervening in the case of Terri Schiavo, the senator said in an interview last night.
Brian Darling, a former lobbyist for the Alexander Strategy Group on gun rights and other issues, offered his resignation and it was immediately accepted, Martinez said.

Okay--we all make mistakes, haven't we all at one time scribbled down idea's on how to intrude upon a person's civil liberties?
"This is an important moral issue and the pro-life base will be excited that the Senate is debating this important issue."

Golly, I do it all the time. And as if memogate wasn't enough..
lobbyist #2. Lou Novak recently lost his lobbying job as the vice-fucking-president of the board of the Rental Housing Association of Puget Sound for shouting out to a group of HIV advocates, "Looks like its anal sex week"

As Trump would say; "Your Fired". Bam! Ass-fucking aside, I'm thinking it's time for a "How to lobby with success and not offend decent people 101" class before taking a job as an advocate *cough* for the people.
